It's time for Crafting with Rita & Pam

Hello EveryOne! This is Rita
 and Pam

In case you can't tell we're mother and daughter. Anne asked us to do some guestposting for her so we thought that we teach you how to make some October themed crafts. Don't worry Anne even you can do this one.

The Eyeball Wreath (below the jump)
What you will need.
1 foam wreath - whatever size you wish.
Glue
Google Eyes, enough to fill your wreath and in whatever still you wish.

Optional
Wire Ribbon
Raven or Other Centerpiece that suits your fancy.

You can get everything at the dollar store.

You can also get a wide verity of google eyes from a catalog company. Here are some example. If you get either the brads or the stickers/tattoos you will not need glue.

For glue we used Zots. You could also use any type of glue you have on hand.

Now that we have all the supplies WE CREATE!

Step 1 - If you bought a verity of eyeballs mix them up so your placement will be randomized

Step 2 - Place eyeballs on wreath

Keep Adding!

Seriously keep adding eyeballs, the less of the wreath background the better the whole effect.

See? And you doubted us.

If needed you can cut the eyes to make them fit.

Now your wreath is totally cool as is. However if you want it to be the coolest eyeball wreath on the block you can add a centerpiece and a bow.

To make the centerpiece is easy. (It is too Anne!)
We had a raven sitting around that I picked up at the dollar store some past Halloween

We didn't like the eyes he came with so we gave him better ones!

See he looks so much better now!

This raven has little wire bits to make him stay on things, straighten them out.

Shove the centerpiece into the wreath. Make sure the it is not top heavy, if it is add some glue to stabilize it.

If you want a bow do this

Grab ribbon approximately 6 to 8 inches from end and twist.

Wrap ribbon around fingers beginning at twist, stopping at the end of the little finger

Twist the two side of the ribbon together
Repeat, until only 10 inches of ribbon is left

After all loops have been twisted together

Take long tail and wrap around divided loops. Twist the 2 tails at bottom of bow together.

Cut tail ends on the diagonal.

For that extra bling add eyeballs to the bow. We used brads but you can also glue any remaining google eyes on.

Attach bow to wreath with either a straight pin through the center of the bow or glue.

Now place on a wall, your door, your cat, whatever. Just know that you will now have the coolest wreath on the block. Happy Crafting!

Ok we didn't completely come up with this idea ourselves we were inspired by these

Until next time
