A wordless book except for the words Uh-Oh!. The pictures
portray a youngster who gets into one mess after another. Each mess he tries
to clean up turns into a bigger disaster.

The illustrations are drawn with what looks like water
color and pencil. The characters are drawn to look like lizards or dinosaurs
living in a modern day house. Young readers can use their current vocabulary
and try to determine what is happening on each set of pages. With the
interaction of the adults during the “reading” of the story, children will
increase their oral language by telling and retelling what could be happening
on the pages. A great book to use for ages 6 months through 4 years old as
parents can begin telling what is going on and as the child grows will be
able to rely on their own vocabulary as stated above
