 Bats, Cats, Spiders, Snakes and other scary Halloween things are what the Count uses to teach the young reader to count in a Holiday based rhyming picture book.  Halloween can be scary for some children; however, Sesame Street has a unique way of counting “fun” scary Halloween things.
