A Golden Book, Picture Book about an age old tale about an independent princess who did not like following her mother’s orders.  A witch tricked the princess and the queen was turned into a bear. Personal Reaction:
Love the idea of a strong female character that is independent and is able to solve a difficult puzzle.  This shows young readers that strong characters can overcome by perseverance.
